I was honored recently to receive a letter from an organization that rates physicians using feedback from patients. They told me that I had been honored with a "Patients' Choice" designation based on patient surveys. What this means, as they explained, is that my patients rated me in the top 5% of doctors in the country. To me, this means even more than the awards that are given based on feedback from other doctors, since my focus is really on providing the best care for my patients rather than on impressing my peers.
